i have to postpone what i was planning on writing today, because something just happened that gave me a great laugh. probably only me, but who cares.
my little sister (not so little anymore...) in an act of avoidance of dinner dishes sneaked off to her room and came back a few minutes later with a blanket on her head. she routinely pretends to be a ghost and tries to scare me. well, this time the tables were turned. i was standing in the hallway when she came sneaking around the corner near the staircase. she was not expecting anyone to be there. it was great. she jumped, shrieked, and got mad at me (that's the best part of scaring someone in my opinion-you really scared them if they get mad at you). ah, sweet success. what made it even better is that i didn't plan to scare her at all.
it still makes me grin to think about it. tonight i am thankful for the laughter. i still would rather not think about all the packing for school i have left, but my attitude is a little better now.
anyone have any packing fairies flitting about i could borrow?? :D
oh. made me laugh too.
ReplyDeleteand yes. if they get mad it totally makes it better. :)
i love you. maybe check the garden for packing fairies? they like it there. ;) xo
