straight

My roommate's best friend came up this weekend and she straightened my hair. It's the first time ever that I've had straight hair. It's only temporary and once I wash it the curl will return, but I've had fun having straight hair for a few days. There is a lady who I have two classes with, named Maria, who has hair similar in texture and curl to mine. She has it cut really short right now, but we've swapped many hair stories, including when she had her hair straightened. I think she was more excited about my straight hair than I was!

P.S. only 30 more hours til I get home for Thanksgiving! :)
