(this wordle really belongs more with last night's post, but you'll probably find some hints at today's, too :)
october kind of snuck up on me. as you may have noticed i am such a creature of habit that i posted last night as if it was like any other night this past month of september. looking back over this month, i think God has taught me some things about myself that i didn't know before or didn't want to recognize (which is probably the more truthful answer). this accountability of posting every day for a month has been a good thing.
i still need accountability, but i think october is going to look a tad different. i'm not sure what that will entail yet, but i do know that i want to keep sharing bits of everything. this is one of the things that i love about this thing called a blog-flexibility to play around a little, to change my mind, to try new ideas, to pose questions, seek answers grounded in truth, and just, well, be me. i also want to keep one thing in focus particularly: letting my Father be at the center of it all. one thing that you may see more of is lists. i do love lists. and as the semester continues to up the ante, that may be all i have the brains for now and again.
(i also think that God likes lists. there are plenty in the Bible. all sorts. think, the ten commandments, genealogical records, much of leviticus. although, God's lists don't control Him like my plethora of post-it notes covering my desk and walls can if i let them. hmmm. anyway, this rabbit trail on lists was extra. enjoy!:)
oooh, i like this thing about God liking lists. you are so right. i never thought of that! (soo glad for friends who see things i don't.)
ReplyDeleteand yes. this blogging thing is good for learning things about yourself, i think. which is scary sometimes. so glad we could learn "together" (in a way :D) this past month.
sending (hugs).
